4.1. System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Failed to update database “...mdf” because the database is read-only.

This message may indicate a defect in SQL Server.

4.2. System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: An attempt to attach an auto-named database failed.

An attempt to attach an auto-named database for file <*.mdf> failed. A database with the same name exists, or specified file cannot be opened, or it is located on UNC share.

4.3. An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server

This error generally indicates an error in the SQL server database configuration.
